Renewing the business model (Rautaruukki)
Starting point and challenges: Rautaruukki's new strategy required planning and building of a completely new business model. The
first challenge on the way to successful strategy implementation was to communicate the new vision and strategy . in such a way
that would help the personnel to commit to the process. Moreover, the task at hand required that the employees had the necessary
motivation to turn the comprehensive and energy-consuming change into quick action. The process had to be more effective and
feedback about its progress should come in fast and from all levels and parts of the organization.

Results: Despite the quick tempo of the renewal, the personnel were constantly up-to-date on the different stages of renewal. Also, the
